Our solution will create a new digital service with the goal to contribute to the development of the low touch economy in Montenegro. We hope that creating De Facto’s online research panel will be beneficial both for the company itself and the Montenegrin general population, business and NGO sectors. The service will provide premium data collection services for researchers in Montenegro and the Western Balkans region. Key benefits include the permanent transformation of the industry towards digital and innovative systems of data collection, swift collection of reliable data for all of the final beneficiaries such as citizens and entities that need data collection (government institutions, civil society, international organizations, commercial entities). In addition, it will set up a system of smart working in the field of data collection.
Our project is designed to efficiently build an innovative and high-quality online data collection infrastructure and thus, transform survey research in Montenegro. Our specific goal includes developing an online panel system for public opinion data collection in Montenegro, based on the best European practices, in order to bridge the gap of data collection for government institutions, international and civil society organizations as well as the commercial sector. This will enable data collection in situations when face-to-face interviewing is impossible, saving jobs in the data collection industry through introducing faster and cheaper, but equally precise, data collection tools. We will also establish better connections with research agencies in the Western Balkans and transfer know-how after the successful establishment of the online panel. This way, DeFacto will not only be able to overcome similar crises to the pandemic that could happen in the future, but will also facilitate the creation of an innovative ecosystem for researchers from Montenegro and the region.
