The challenge
People with disabilities, unfortunately, have difficulties in accessing arts and cultural activities, in general. What renders people with physical impairments or health problems disabled is the planning of their living environment, the attitudes they face, and the priorities of the society they are part of. People with disabilities, who had to become even more isolated due to the Covid-19 pandemic, are having more difficulties in terms of participation in cultural and art events.
The solution
The foundation’s website will be designed to be accessible to those with physical disadvantages, including people who are visually or hearing impaired, so that everyone can access information about İKSV’s events and publications and easily join events that are currently taking place predominantly online due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
